Mighty Mini Popsickles for Sick Kids
Best idea in awhile. My grandsons are having the stomach flu this week while staying with us and what a wonderful idea whoever came up with those mini popsickles that don't melt so fast. When you are already washing every sheet and blanket you have with assorted jammies thrown in, it was so nice to not to have to worry about the mess of a normal popsickle! The eleven month old LOVED them and ate four right away after his nap. Before that he couldn't hold anything down and didn't like the cold mess from the regular ones. I bought mine at Wallmart in the freezer section. I give them a thumbs up!

Old Favorites
Old hymns and greening flower beds,
Smell of rain, rich moist earth.
Spring tulips, hyacinths, peonies abound.
Sweet melodies, Amazing Grace, Sweet Hour of Prayer, children giggles all around.

Morning with Great Grandma Clara
We had an adventure today! Grace went to Gold's gym daycare for the first time. The woman in charge held her the whole time and when I went to pick her up after 30 min. commented that Grace must be used to being held. I laughed and told her yes that as grandma I have been watching her during the day and she does get held a lot and many days takes a nap on my chest but that I'd been having her lay on a blanket now that she is getting older. We plan on visiting Grandma Clara every week this summer. Grandma Clara said today that she is going to give Grace the little ruby and diamond earrings I had bought one year for her birthday if her parents are okay with that and plan on getting her ears pierced. What a nice idea.
